Why did we ever think this would be fun...

Winding bobbins is no fun. If you are not careful you can split the bobbin that you spent hours working on.


In the end we ended up with 4 finished bobbin sets and some blury eyes. We were actually able to wind the purple heart bobbin from the split cocobolo bobbin so we didn't lose the wire. Worked out this time. The trick was to let the other bobbin spin horizontally on a small spindle while winding it onto the other bobbin. Not easy.


Wound up a zebra, a custom cocobolo for a multiscale, a purple heart neck pickup, and wired up some previously wound pickups for some other projects.
